Research Interests
Kazuo Ohgushi specializes in Comparative Politics and Latin American Studies, with a special focus on Peru. He has worked on such topics as the military and politics, the evolution of leftist political thought, and social movements. More recently, he has studied human rights issues, especially transitional justice after armed conflict and dictatorship, globally as well as on specific Latin American cases.
