On February 11, Mr. Yao Chen, Director of East Asian Collection at the Center for East Asian Studies, The University of Chicago, visited the Asian Research Library.
We held a meeting with Mr. Yao Chen, with representatives from U-PARL, RASARL, and the Library Services Division staff of The University of Tokyo Library System attending. During the meeting, we engaged in a broad exchange of views on topics including user services, the management of research libraries, and approaches to collection development, such as acquisition methods and collection scale.
