Research Interests
Jakshylyk AKMATALIEVA specializes in linguistics. Her research focuses on the linguistics of Turkic languages. She aims to clarify the synchronic similarities and historical relationships between the northwestern group of Turkic languages (Kyrgyz languages of the Kyrgyz Republic) and the northeastern group of Turkic languages (Siberian minority languages such as Altay and Shor).
